Talent & Culture Manager
Do you ever wonder how companies like Felyx, Onefit, United Wardrobe, TicketSwap, OpenUp and Zapp started?
Do you also think recruitment is more than just filling a vacancy?
Do you think you have it in you to discuss talent management with a founder?
Do you feel unfulfilled by the job title Recruiter and yearn for something more rounded?
Then you might be the one we're looking for!
Join us as our next Talent & Culture Manager!
It’s time to exchange your job at a large corporate or agency for one at a boutique Talent & People service provider - that’s us - or maybe you are craving more independence and responsibility.
About Scale Force Talent – Ready. Set. Scale
Our goal is simple - to help start-ups and scale-ups become self-sufficient in people & talent management. We deliver hands-on results while working with founders to develop a state-of-the-art people strategy. This way, Scale Force Talent helps build the culture with founders who no longer have to choose between quality or quantity.
In recent years we have been at the inception of some awesome companies like Treatwell, Onefit, Vintage, Cash Cow, Fixico and many others. Now we are happy helping out Yummygums, Naduvi, Zapp Delivery, TicketSwap, Champ.nl, Smiler.app and OpenUp.
We are a team of nine with our HQ in Amstelveen Noord. On Monday we kick off the week together at the office and the rest of the week will be at the location of your choosing. You get to enjoy being part of both our team and the client’s team that you’re supporting. Double the fun!
Your responsibilities at a glance
-
Talent sessions with founders and hiring managers: translate the business plan into an org. chart, clear JDs and a scalable recruitment strategy.
-
Build an Employer Brand, including setting up their ATS system, career site and social media presence.
-
Perform the classic recruitment work for the more challenging roles: you are not afraid to get your hands dirty and do some good ol’ LinkedIn work.
-
Managing sources that help you with the pipeline of more common roles.
-
After we define the cultural values, you incorporate them into the employer branding and the candidate journey.
Wow, this is really me!
You hate those canned messages that every recruiter sends over! You have 2-6 years of experience as a recruiter at a corporate, scale-up, or agency where you were (partly) responsible for the recruitment success of your clients. You are not the standard recruiter who goes for a placement, but you strive for a long-term solution and take the time for labor market communication.
You’re the person with a plan (and vision). Moreover, you are flexible, creative and entrepreneurial enough to see that if the plan does not work, you will come up with a proposal and make the necessary adjustments. You think in opportunities and not in challenges.
You are a self-starter and have enough experience to do your own thing while also having the confidence to raise your hand when you can't figure things out by yourself.
You are customer-oriented, accurate and consistent in following up on your agreements. (Actually, you think it's a bit crazy that this is on this list. Because what kind of self-respecting talent manager isn't?!?)
Your friends, parents and your current employer describe you as positive, a true go-getter, structured and communicative.
You find it exciting to level with founders about the future of their company. And for them, you are an advisor, an equal discussion partner and someone who will really help them out because you have the right skills and the right back-up (us).
You have a Bachelor or Master, which one does not matter to us, as long as you can be that true partner to the founders we work with. They can be challenging at times!
Why work with us?
-
We practice what we preach: 4 day work week and unlimited vacation days.
-
Monthly Yourcampus budget and OpenUp if you ever feel like talking to someone.
-
We hire based on trust, which means that we trust you from day one and see you as an equal within the team.
-
Lots of responsibility and the opportunity to further develop and grow with us.
-
The chance to help build the most promising start-ups and work with inspiring founders
-
And of course a competitive salary, too. No bonus, because then you don't work for the customer but for your own wallet. With the profits, we do fun outings such as trips to Israel and Portugal, great workshops, training courses and international conferences.
